About Me

Hello, my name is Ariel and this is Notes on Astrology.

I began my astrology studies at age 7 poring over Sun sign books in my local public library.  I got my first telescope at age 8 and would sit on the floor of my bedroom waiting for it to get dark enough to find the North Star. I have a Cancer Moon, so you can probably guess what my favorite luminary is. :)

I am self-taught in the manner of many of the great astrologers of past and present and can often be found at lectures and group meetings of other astrologers in New York City.

I am a disciple of Jungian psychology and like Carl Jung himself, find the parallels between the science of Psychology and metaphysics awe-inspiring.  I know a lot of people don't "believe" in astrology.  I always laugh at this because it is certainly not a religion. It is the study of things that just exist, no belief required.

I hope this blog inspires you to explore your personal blueprint (natal chart) and to look for ways to approach the challenges we all enter this world to face and rise above.  This is my contribution to the knowledge base of astrology, my observations on society, and my informed wisdom on sex and relationships.
